Because it does me good — and I can give it meaning.
Running is fun, it clears my head — and I keep trying to combine it with charity. The spark that started it all was meeting Hamza and his family.
I'm not a fast runner. I'm no pro. But I can keep going for 12 running days + 2 rest days, I can cover 567 km through the Swiss mountains, and I can give every single kilometre a meaning.
From 5 to 19 July 2026, I'm running from Geneva to Bregenz – across the country, over every pass, through every valley. My friend Sebastian, a Michelin-starred chef and ten-year companion, comes along in the camper and makes sure there's a warm meal at every stage end.
„When I arrive at the final stage and know: this child can now be operated on – those will have been the most important 567 km of my life.“

When the current project has reached its goal, we keep going – the next cause will reveal itself soon.
