The Toni Kroos Foundation was founded in June 2015 to help seriously ill children and their families. The foundation finances therapies and treatments, procures medical aids and fulfils small dreams of the children – sometimes sadly their last wishes.
The foundation helps especially where financial resources are lacking, where particularly quick help is needed or where health insurance companies have refused support. Quickly. Without bureaucracy. With heart.
Toni Kroos stands personally behind his foundation and covers all running costs from his own pocket – so that 100 % of every donation reaches the children directly.

Two paths, one goal: quality of life for sick children and their families.
Direct individual assistance for families with seriously and chronically ill children: wheelchairs, therapy equipment, barrier-free conversion measures, therapy costs – quickly and without bureaucratic effort. The foundation steps in where health insurers refuse or where resources are lacking.
Partnership with 8 institutions in NRW, Berlin and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – children's and youth hospices and children's hospitals. The foundation finances medical equipment, therapy rooms and major projects. Long-term, collaborative, effective.
All running costs of the foundation are borne by Toni Kroos personally. Every donation flows completely and without deductions into the aid projects – that is his personal promise to every supporter.
Active in 8 institutions in Germany
In November 2025, Thomas Martin met a child named Hamza at an event of the Toni Kroos Foundation. This encounter became the starting signal for 657 kilometres.
